Christine Manfield is a keen and curious traveller, an attribute that inevitably led to the creation of hosted international small group culinary tours.
The inaugural SPICE tour found her in the palaces of Rajastan in India, an inspiring backdrop to explore the region’s spicy foods and Moghul influence. She has returned many times since, uncovering new secrets with each visit.
Spice tours have also taken Christine and a group of culinary adventurers several times to Morocco on a heady spice trail that included Fes, Marrakesh, Rabat, Meknes and Essaouira.
Christine is an avid lover of the
French countryside and has
hosted two residential cooking
schools in France - La Combe
de Perigord in the Dordogne in
May 2009 and more recently at
Chateau Tailly, near Meursault in
the Burgundy region in May 2011.

2011 Spice tours
Following on from the hugely successful Indian & Moroccan Spice Tours in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and Kerala in 2011; and to coincide with the release of her sixth book Tasting India, she is hosting two more exclusive tours to india in November 2011 and February 2012.
Christine’s love affair with India has been an enduring one. From years of travelling to this beguiling country for pleasure and work, Christine brings a remarkable perception to the culinary and cultural heritage of this astonishing country.
